behind the camera:Tracy Bridle
My journey with photography started long before I even realised it. Back in South Africa, I worked as a make-up artist, helping people feel confident by highlighting their natural beauty. At the same time, I was always the one with a camera in hand by capturing friends, family, and those little in-between moments. Everyone knew if something needed documenting, Tracy would be there with her camera at the ready. And they weren’t wrong!
After moving to Dubai 20 years ago, life took me on a different path. I spent 16 years in the corporate world — but the pull of photography never went away. Eventually, I decided to take the leap, turn my passion into something bigger, and I haven’t looked back since.
Photography isn’t work for me, it is what I love doing most. Every shoot is a chance to connect, tell a story, and capture moments that last a lifetime.
